Mrs. Langston Counselor

I have had the privilege of being a bulldog for the past 27 years. I began my career as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and then moved to First Grade when Hill Country opened and migrated my way to Fifth Grade. The past 12 years I have had the pleasure of being the Counselor. I have raised two pretty great kids that have walked these halls and called Bandera home. My daughter followed in my footsteps and graduated from Texas A&M Corpus Christi with a teaching degree. She is currently raising two rambunctious daughters and will begin her career as a new Kindergarten teacher in Corpus Christi ISD as a Kolda Cadet. My son graduated from Texas A&M and then Texas A&M Medical School, and is currently doing residency in Radiation Oncology in Denver, Colorado. I am proud to call him Dr. Langston.

I will be providing the guidance lessons as well as involved in parent conferences and teacher support. I am the At Risk, Section 504 and Testing Coordinator as well. I also provide crisis intervention as needed and work with individual or small groups of students to support them in meeting their needs for academic success. I am also involved in RTI and parent conferences. I am happy to assist however I can.
