WELCOME!! I am thrilled to be the counselor at Hill Country Elementary, this will be my 2nd year as a bulldog and I look forward to all the great things to come. I have my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I began my career as a first grade teacher for 3 years and then started my journey to become a counselor at UTSA.  I'm married to my high school sweetheart and have 4 beautiful children. I love to spend my time reading, spending anytime outdoors with my family, being involved with all things baseball and eating delicious foods! 

I will be providing the guidance lessons and providing support for teachers.  I am the At Risk and Section 504 coordinator as well.  I also provide crisis intervention as needed and work with individual or small groups of students to support them in meeting their needs for academic success.  I also oversee GT Referrals and Special Education Referrals.   I am happy to assist however I can.
