A few comments by our judges to help you understand their thinking process :
Well prepared speech, and delivered with confidence.
Good speech, good topic, need to work a little bit on tone and body language.
Very well prepared and well delivered speech. Very natural tone and effective style.
Lack of confidence, and tone is not engaging. Next time, try to develop more confidence on what you say.
Very good choice of person as role model. Little bit need to work on more eye contact. I like whole tone of speech & body language.
Speech looks effective when read without paper. It seemed participant not well prepared. Topic is good.
Good speech, good tone, would like to see some more hand gestures next time.
Well prepared speech, great topic, would like to see more confidence next time.
The speech had good points, but was overly dramatic and had too many hand movements.
Speaks in a friendly conversational manner, and makes excellent points.
Points are not clear. The speech felt rehearsed and stiff.
The speech had few mistakes/repetitions (probably due to retakes and editing). Diction is not as good as many others. The speech had good points though.
Began nicely, but became nervous as the speech went on. Good points, but the presentation could be better.
Some irregular words. Good description.
A little more dramatic.
Successfully connected what inspired the speaker to choose their ideal.
Described father as his ideal, touching description.
Honest and personalized speech.
Good life sketch But failed to explain why ideal was selected.
Inspired by personal experience.
Missed giving credit for speech recording. To the point, relevant, good memorization but style can be forceful.
Very well rehearsed topic. Strong confidence and great posture. Great pace for speech too. The only impact it’s missing is a feel of personality or personalization. Hand gestures also appear too rehearsed and lacks an ease which will round up the speaker to be most appealing to audience
This speaker was heartfelt and appealing. The passion on the topic was evident. Couple of reasons the scores are lower is because of the pace being too aggressive causing repetition of phrases ; some intermingling of English words.
Good composure and body posture. Hand gestures are rehearsed but still effective
Extremely appealing style and good content. Confidence and vulnerability combined.
Good content and confidence. More speech and tone variation would have added more interest to audiences
Good effort. Content is good. Speaker will develop with more practice
Suggest improving eye contact as first step.
Good content and presentation. Hand gestures are rehearsed and almost distracting. Will encourage speaker to become more free flowing with hands for more effective speeches in future
A much younger speaker than other competitors but good effort. With practice she can develop into a more engaging speaker
Good effort. Speaker can focus on developing ease of speech
Speaker had good connection with audience by smiling and hand gestures that were more naturally flowing. It appeared like speaker believed in her speech.
Extremely good speaker. Excellent control on speech and body language. Strong content , start and end too.
Good realistic speech. Content seemed close to speaker heart and that helped delivery quality
Extremely good speaker. Passion in voice and gestures. Very strong content , start and end too.
Good effort. Constant similar hand gestures were a little distracting. More practice will make speaker more confident
Good topic and content. Very distracting video due to edit of pictures etc. also due to the multiple edits , it does not compare equitably with other participants who have unedited single cut delivery of content
Very interesting twist to the topic. The intro was very non traditional and speaker accurately captures the potential sentiment of the audience. Speech was short but extremely impactful.
Picked a strong persona to idolize. Very good coverage about the idol. Scores are lower due to lack of eye contact , monotony of pace and lack of personal connection
Maybe something to check. Another speaker has similar if not same words. :) speaker was well paced and kept good eye contact. Seemed to be missing passion.
Good content and delivery. Would have been more impactful if speaker was louder and standing up instead of sitting behind desk.
Good effort.speaker will definitely benefit from more such participation to develop delivery style and confidence too.
Good strong speech. Confidence and good body language. Missed the personal connection and reasoning for picking the idol
The speaker is heartfelt. Good effort. Areas of improvement would be pace and eye contact.
Good topic. Good lead in into the speech. Good coverage of info and nice wrapup. Would have been more impactful if speaker was facing the camera.
Good recovery when content was forgotten. Confidence firm from start to finish. Good effort.
Very entertaining speaker with her hand gestures and verbal tuning. Good content. Areas of improvement would be reducing pace. Including voice modulation and tone variations. More control on hand gestures will allow audience to focus on speech content.
Good pace and very calm speaker. Would have helped if speaker stood up and added some hand movements to support the speech
Good speech. Good pace and content coverage. Will encourage speaker to continue speaking to allow ease of body language
Speaker would have been more impactful with eye contact and posture
Good speech. Calm and composed. Good posture
Good calm pace and clear words. A little tonal variation and emphasis would have made speech more effective
Calm and good speech. Good content. Adding passion and emphasis will add to audience engagement
It appears that video is edited and not single take. Good effort
Speaker had good sentiments towards his topic. The mode of delivery and abruptness of transitions made it hard to concentrate on the content. Good effort.
Speaker was at ease and laid her opinions down in straightforward and relatable way. The body language was calming and voice allowed for focus on words. The lead in to the topic was interesting and the closure was also very well done ! Only minor use of English observed.
Speaker had extremely good content. From explaining what the topic meant to her to reasoning behind her choice. There was some degree of repetition but not much. Area for improvement would be better control on body language and a little bit more rehearsal
Speaker's passion was evident from the beginning and retained same level through the end. Pace was very good and easy to comprehend. Hand gestures were not over the top and had good flow with topics. Only areas for improvement would be adding more meaningful qualifiers in addition to sentiments.
