Hello! My name is Samantha Severs. I am a First Grade teacher at Ballard West Elementary! I am originally from Ankeny, Iowa but now live in Ames after graduating from college.  In my free time I love spending time with my family, friends, and my dog Biff! I also enjoy going for walks and riding my bike.

I went to Iowa State University and graduated with my degree in Elementary Education in 2023. I also received endorsements in k-12 English Language Arts and k-12 Reading. Throughout my time in college, I was a Substitute Associate in the Ankeny School District and also was a Paraeducator at Edwards Elementary in Ames.

I am so excited to be teaching First grade and am looking forward to a great school year!
