Mrs. Okland's First grade

Hi There! 

My name is Kim Okland and I am a 1st Grade Teacher at Ballard West Elementary.

I attended Iowa State University and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in social studies and reading. I began my teaching career at Ballard East teaching 5th Grade for 2 years, then moved to Ballard West to teach 2nd Grade. I taught 2nd Grade for 10 years before moving to 1st Grade.

I live in Huxley with my husband, Matt, and our blended family of 5 children, Priya, Cael, Gemma, Brooklyn, and Evie.

We love traveling the world, spending time at the beach, being big foodies, golfing, COFFEE, being outside and spending time as a family!
