Walk Two Moons was written by Sharon Creech and in my opinion goes under the genre of mystery and realistic fiction. This book is about Sal who lives in Bybanks with her father. Her mother had left to another city and had never returned. Sal and her grandparents are on a road trip to Idaho to get there for her mother's birthday. On the road trip Sal tells the story of Phoebe her friend and how her mother had suddenly disappeared. A "lunatic" is roaming the neighborhood and mysterious messages keep appearing on Phoebes' doorstep. There is no news from Phoebes' mother and Mrs Cadaver (Phoebes' neighbor) is starting to drive suspicion into her direction. What happened to the mother of Phoebe? Where did she go? This was a very nice fiction story to read and I enjoyed it a lot. The vocabulary wasn't difficult and the book wasn't too long. I would recommend it to people who like mystery and fiction books.
