“They’ll Never Catch Us” by Jessica Goodman is a novel based on the genres of thriller, mystery, and suspense. The Steckler sisters are known as Edgewater's fastest runners until Mila Keene came along. Edgewater is known for the mysterious disappearances of famous/fast-track runners. The fastest track runner in town, Mila Keene, disappears one morning, prompting the whole town to panic. Throughout this book, I found it enjoyable from beginning to end. I think the author did an excellent job creating their plot. Despite thinking I knew what the mystery of the book was, the author surprised me with a twist that changed everything. Considering the content of the book and the vocabulary used throughout, I recommend it for readers aged 12 and older. (Ellery. Grade 8)
