“The Throne Of Glass” by Sarah J. Maas is a novel about a young assassin who has to fight for her freedom. Celaena Sardothien is an assasin, a very good one at that, she used to be the best of the best until she got captured and sent to Erileas deadliest prison. She had been beaten and has worked gruling days in the mines, and longs for freedom, so when the opportunity presented itself she took it. Celaena now has a chance for freedom, but theres a very deadly catch. She has to fight in a tournament against other thieves and assassins to become the kings champion. Celaena is transported to the castle, and as the tournament begins champions start to die off by a mysterious evil. Will Celaena survive? This book is better than I thought it would be, its genre is fantasy as well as romance. I recommend this book to 6th grade and up. (Amerie. Grade 8)

"The Throne of Glass" by Sarah J. Mass was one of my favorite books. In this novel, Celaena Sardothien, the most famous assassin living in Erilea, the world the book is based in, is taken from Endovier Mine where she had been enslaved with other prisoners for murder, and is taken to the palace to take part in an intense competition to become the king's guard and protector. She has to compete against many dangerous men. Will she make it out alive and earn her freedom? Is there evil magic lurking around the castle? I really liked this book. It fits in the genres of mystery, thriller, adventure, and a bit of romance. I would recommend it for grades 6 and up because it might be a bit tough due to its violent content for younger ages. “Throne of Glass” by Sarah J. Maas was a book that I really enjoyed reading. The story in this book takes place In Erilea, the world the book is based on. In Erilea lives the most famous assassin, known as Celaena Sardothien. She was enslaved in Endovier where there were many other slaves. However, her life changed forever. She was chosen to compete in the competition to become the King of Adarlan’s champion, to protect and guard the King. She was to compete with thieves, killers, and many more. She will be released as soon as the contract is over. This book had genres of mostly action, fantasy, a little bit of mystery, and romance as well. I would recommend this book for the age of 12 and up as it wouldn’t be appropriate for younger ages. Another reason why I enjoyed this book was that the storyline never got me bored, it had an easy flow that would get you hooked throughout the book. (Ellery. Grade 8)
