Scorch Trials by James Dashner fits into adventure because it tells about a boy and his friends trying to find an artifact so they can be free from the person whom they called “Rat Man” and find the missing group. Which is also the main character girlfriend he wants to save. There’s lots of conflicts in the middle of the story and i really like the action. Many of the cahracters are boys but in the middle of the story there is girls too. Nearly at the end they’re fighting with monsters which later they get saved by a team of unknown people. I’ll gave this book a 8.5/10 (Dominic, Grade 6

“The Scorch Trials” by James Dashner is the second book of the “The Maze Runner” series. The genre most fits dystopian fiction mixed up with adventure. During the first book of the series, the kids escaped the maze where they were locked. In this book, they came out to the world and find out why they were locked, and they find out about the flare all over the world. WICKED is a foundation that was made to find out about the flare and the kids are locked there because they were the cure to the flare. So, the mind of WICKED is sacrificing a small part to gain a big win. I’ll recommend this book to people who like to read dystopian novels, or some people already watched the movies. It has a little different story and details compared to the movie. (Youngmin, Grade 7)

The Scorch Trials is the follow-up book to The Maze Runner and is written by James Dashner. It is about the second trial that Thomas and his friends are forced to face because of WICKED. They are put into a deserted land filled with cranks who are infected by a horrible disease named the Flare. There is no cure for it and Thomas as well as the others have no choice but to fight through it all including their biggest fears. Friendships are tested, loyalties are broken and danger lurks around every corner. I enjoyed reading this book a lot and would rate it 3.5. I recommend it to you if you like dystopian and adventurous books. (Remember to read the Maze Runner book first). (Enya, Grade 6)

I Like This book because in the beginning they grabbed my attention by saying

"she spoke to him before the world fell apart" I was intrigued by this because I thought it meant the end of the world and life.I read and read till i eventually i guessed the book right it was in fact the end of the world.Spoiler everyone was dead and they had to grab materials and armour to protect themselves from bad people.
