“The Land of Forgotten Girls” by Erin Entrada Kelly was a good book. This novel explains the strong love bond between the two sisters in this story. It tells us how Soledad, the older sister, and main character, tries to escape from her sadness and misery by making up stories. This was a pretty sweet book that had an inspiring ending. It fits in the genres of realistic fiction and fantasy. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a short story that is fast and easy to read. I believe it is appropriate for ages 10 - 14 because of its length and content, as some older ages might find it a bit too childish or not find it interesting. (Nina. Grade 8)
