Scarlet & Ivy, The Last Secret by Sophie Cleverly

Scarlet and Ivy: the last secret by Sophie Cleverly is an adventure as well as a mystery about the twins (Ivy and Scarlet) that go back home for the holidays and get a gift from their dad, it was a music box that belonged to their mother. Ivy and Scarlet loved the box even though it was just a music box or so they thought, they were playing the song when they discover a secret compartment with notes from their mother written in code. The adventure part of this book is when there is a new headmaster trying to close the school down and since Scarlet and Ivy along with other girls don't want to go home they formed a group to stop this. The reading level of this book is low, it is easy and fast to read. I definitely recommend this book but make sure to read all the other ones before or else it won't make sense. (Elsa, Grade 7)
