“Hold Me Closer: The Tiny Cooper Story” by David Levithan is the “sequel” to the book “Will Grayson, Will Grayson”. This book follows the story of Tiny Cooper, his whole life, From being just born, to now. “Hold Me Closer” is written in the form of a musical script or a movie script, this is because Tiny Cooper is making a musical about his life. It is not really a sequel but more of a character backstory. I didn't really like the book, the story was alright but I didn't find it enjoyable to read the story like a movie, play or musical script. This book fits the genre of realistic fiction, and I recommend this book to grade 6 and above. (Amerie. Grade 8)
