Wicked History: Alexander The Great, Master of the Ancient World by Doug Wilhelm

Wicked History: Alexander the Great Master of the Ancient World by Doug Wilhelm is a very short but informative and attention grabbing book. Originally my expectation of this book were not very high for the most part I had chosen to read it for the fact that it was quite short. I was not expecting to get invested into the history, journey, and overall biography of Alexander the great. It follows him a royal Macedonian through his expeditions of conquering Asia and Greece. I cannot identify anything really unique that the author does but I got really captivated and this was a book that I personally was continuously wanting to read which is not a normal thing for me it might just be my personal interest of ancient history. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone that is is even just a little bit interested in history or not it can be enjoyable either way. It is short not a very intricate or challenging book and overall is a fun read so I would definitely put this close to the top of your plan to read list. (Oliver, Grade 7)
