An old professor suddenly gets a deadly disease, and a student finally goes back to visit him. Mitch (the student) graduated from college where he was very close with Morrie (his old professor). Although he promises he will visit Morrie, Mitch doesn't come back, until one day he sees his teacher on the news, talking about his terminal disease. Mitch describes his last meetings with Morrie, where Morrie teaches him about life, death, and everything in between. Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom is a non-fiction book which I had not expected to like. I did end up enjoying this book since I think the story was interesting, but mostly it was inspirational. The advice Morrie gives is real and made you think about what he was saying, and how you are/ would like to live your life. I would recommend reading this book. (Justine. Grade 8)
