The Fish Girl by Mirandi Riwoe

I read ' The Fish Girl' by Mirandi Riwoe. The genre of this book is realistic fiction. Mina is an Indonesian girl who lives in a village and works as a Dutch Merchant. The book includes the common lifestyle of Indonesian people, it also shows Indonesian culture. As I was reading the book I could see some similarities between the book and in the real life. I would like to recommend this book to people who are not familiar with Indonesian culture or people who want to learn about Indonesia's culture. Also, it is a very short book so it will not take a long time to read and it is very easy to understand the vocabulary in the book. (Sebin. Grade 8)
