I have read a book called Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora by Pablo Cartaya. I have rated the book as 3 because the wasn't my style but it had a good moral of story. I think the moral of the story is about that the choice we made become ours which is a great moral. However, the story wasn't interesting and didn't had a good climax. (Sebin. Grade 8)

THE EPIC FAIL OF ARTURO ZAMORA recounts his tumultuous summer at age 13. The heart of Arturo's sprawling Cuban American family is his beloved Abuela (grandmother) and La Cocina de la Isla, the Miami restaurant she opened nearly 20 years ago. His high hopes for summer soon turn to dismay and anxiety: His new job at the restaurant turns out to be as a lowly dishwasher, his stomach flips whenever he's near newly arrived family friend Carmen, Abuela is falling ill, and a flashy, underhanded developer wants to replace La Cocina with a high-rise.

This book is really nice and pretty interesting...

The vocabulary wasn't so hard, maybe like 4 words. I didn’t really know what it meant.

But Overall i think this book is really good. (Alex. Grade 7)

The story “The Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora'' is about a kid named Arturo. Arturo faces many challenges like having to save his family's restaurant from getting knocked down, trying to impress his crush, Carmen, one of his relatives, getting over the loss of his beloved Abuela (Grandmother) who sadly passed away and surviving the Summer without his best friends who are away at camp. I really enjoyed this book and would strongly recommend it to 6-8 graders. It is a very well written story and is very engaging. (Nina. Grade 7)
