This book is about a dog who gets abandoned. He meets a wolf who tells him to go to moon mountain and find out who takes care of all the wild animals. Feeling committed to keeping his word, the dog sets out on a journey to find moon mountain. Along the way, the dog makes many discoveries, and he meets new travel companions, some bad some good... I think this book was pretty good, and I recommend it for people who like adventure stories. (Malena. Grade 8)

The Dog, the Wolf, and the God - Folco Terzani. The Dog, always used to the comforts and safety of domestic life, suddenly finds himself abandoned on the street, convinced that without his beloved master he will not be able to survive. Then a mysterious Wolf appears that will lead him to the discovery of the wild nature that the city hides and forbids. This book is pretty interesting but really boring, nothing to keep you excited. The vocabulary is ok i guess not so hard(Alex. Grade 7)

“The Dog, The Wolf And God” is a book about one abandoned dog’s pilgrimage and journey to Moom Mountain where he meets other animals of many shapes and sizes while learning to use his full potential. This book is a great adventure book as it explores identity and shows how a journey can both be treacherous and joyful. Folco Terzani includes vocabulary that fit the book’s overall theme as well as great story-telling which are great reasons to read the book. Unfortunately, the story strays a bit away from the main plot towards the end and becomes unengaging due to this, which is also a reason to avoid the book. (Ayden. Grade 8)
