Spoiler alert! (Read the first two books before continuing)

The Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas is a fantasy fiction book about a young female assassin. In the previous book of the Throne of Glass series, Celaena won the competition to be the king's champion. Now, in the third book, Celaena is doing her role as the king's champion and killing all his enemies... At least that is what she has led everyone to believe. Celaena knows that most of the king's enemies are good people being sentenced to death for the wrong reason. But Celaena has to be careful. If her secret gets out that she has been defying the king, if she does anything wrong, the captain of guard whom she has become close with, along with all the other people she cares about will be harmed. Like all the last books of this series, I enjoyed reading every page, and would definitely recommend reading this book. (Justine, Grade 8)
