"Scarlet & Ivy, the Whispers in the Walls" by Sophie Cleverly is the continuation of " Scarlet & Ivy, the lost twin". The story starts off where the first book ends, ie., the twins finding each other and the school going mostly back to normal. But is it? Is the headmaster as innocent as he claims? Yet again, the sisters and their friend Ariadne will have to follow mysterious clues that will lead to a shocking truth. This book fits in the genres realistic fiction, adventure and mystery. I rated this book a four out of five because it was really exciting, easy and fast to read. There is no specific age group for this story but I would mostly recommend it for ages nine and up because it might be too long for younger ages . (Nina, Grade 7)

SPOILER ALERT! READ SCARLET & IVY THE MISSING TWIN BEFORE CONTINUING!

I think Scarlet & Ivy the Whispers in the Walls by Sophie Cleverly was a pretty good book. It picks off where the last book left off, Ivy found her missing twin and the truth about Mrs. Fox has been uncovered. The headmaster Mr. Bartholomew is back to make sure things are in order. But maybe he isn't as innocent as he claims to be.. the twins and their friend, Ariadne puzzle together mysteries and clues to uncover the truth... Not only about the mysterious headmaster though... I think this book best fits into the genre of mystery since it is about how the group of friends tries to puzzle together the clues. I rate this book 4/5 because I think it was pretty exciting while still being easy to read. (Malena, Grade 8)

*Warning - Read the first book of the series before continuing+

The Whispers in the Walls by Sophie Cleverly is the second book to the realistic fiction series of Scarlet and Ivy. Scarlet has been freed from the asylum, and the twins are reunited. Mrs.Fox is gone, with no trace of her left, and the headmaster, Mr.Barthemlow, is back. But Mr.Barthemlow is worse than the twins had expected. They uncover a secret room where they find out about a secret group from previous years named the Whispers in the Walls. They are determined to find the truth about Mr.Bathemlow and complete the work the Whispers in the Walls were not able to... I enjoyed this book because it had an interesting plot with an added feeling of mystery. I would recommend this book to people who like an easy-to-read mystery fiction book. (Justine, Grade 8)
