The Rag and Bone Shop by Robert Cormier is about the mystery of Alicia Bartletts murder. Jason, the last person to see Alicia before she died, has been interrogated by Trent, the best interrogator and has made every of his suspects say the truth. This book has caught my attention on every page, I cannot put the book down as soon as I pick it up. It was a really easy book to read, but had some vocabulary that I did not know. I would recommend this book towards people who enjoy the genre of murder mystery as the books' genre is related to murder mystery. It is also targeted towards the age of over 10-11 or 12, as the vocabulary was challenging. (Ellery. Grade 7)

The Rag and Bone Shop by Robert Cormier is a Mystery book about a 12 year-old named Jason Dorrant who is interrogated by Trent, an expert interrogator who got a confession from every criminal he has ever interrogated. Jason was the last one to see Alicia Barlett alive, so he was suspected of killing her. I like this book because not a lot happens, but a lot of thinking is done by the characters and even me as the reader who is guessing what will happen next. I also like this book because of it's terrifying ending. I recommend this book to people who like crime fiction and mystery books and to 10-12 year-olds because the vocabulary is quite challenging. The book, "The rag and bone shop" by Robert Cormier was a thrilling book. When seven year old Alicia is found murdered, her friend, Jason, is interrogated by the police because he was the so called last one to see Alicia alive. After a lot of questioning and investigation, the police eventually finds the murderer. This murder-mystery genre book had many unexpected turns that really shocked me, particularly the ending. This was a very interesting book and I really enjoyed it. It was rather easy and fast to read. I would mostly recommend this book for people who enjoy the genres of murder, mystery and maybe a bit of tragedy. I don't think it is a suitable reading for younger ages because it might be too scary and not an easy topic for young kids. (Nina. Grade 7)
