Memories of Anne Frank by Alison Leslie Gold is a book about the memories Anne Frank's childhood best friend had of her. Hannah Goslar, the person telling the story and Anne's best friend talks about the events before Anne disappeared, how everybody reacted to this, and what happens to her before she meets Anne again, unknown to her that it is for the last time. Hannah talks about the personality of Anne, and what she was like to the people around her. When the two girls meet again, it is after over a year, and through a fence in a concentration camp. I liked this book since it described the experience of what one person went through because of the war, and although it is not described in great deal, what it was like to loose a friend she had known since she was little. I would recommend reading this book. (Justine Grade 8)

The book Memories of Anne Frank was really good! It was written by Alison Leslie Gold, she met Hannah (Anne her best friend) in Israel and has interviewed Hannah about Anne Frank. She tells about Anne, World War II, childhood friendships, how magical her friendship was with Anne was and what happened in the World War II. In the WWII they went to a concetration camp in Germany. I really recommend this book if you enjoy reading about World War II and realistic fiction. (Lauren Grade 8)
