Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott is a realistic fiction book that takes place in the 1860's. The story is based on a family with 4 sisters. Their father is sent off to fight in the war. One of the sisters, Jo, the main character of the book and the second oldest sister wants to be a writer. This book focuses a lot on friendship and family, and the goodness of people and the sisters. I think that this book was an okay book. I don't think there was really a main plot of the story, it mostly just follows the life of the 4 sisters. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes books based on family and connection. (Justine. Grade 8)
