Journey to the Centre of the Earth by Jules Verne is a classic novel about 3 main characters. The first is the nephew of the second, who is a scientist. The third is someone they meet on the way of their journey. Their journey to the centre of the earth. This starts when the uncle finds a note in an old book about directions to get to the center of the earth. The uncle is determined to go, and with his nephew. But, it doesn't happen the way they planned, and they encounter mysterious pieces of information. I did not particularly love this book, but I think for anyone who would like to read a classic this could be a book for you. (Justine. Grade 8)
