Infinity ring by James Dashner is a story full of plot holes and uninteresting characters. It has taken me personally around one and a half months to complete this short 190 page book. That is ridiculous amount of time to read such a short book. I was so ungagged when reading this book that I was constantly putting off to read it. I was not invested in any of the characters because the way that they developed and built them up made me not care about them. A good example came when a certain character was gone they were close to Dak the protagonist. Dak did not have a reaction and brushed it off. I was personally more interested in some of the side characters. Now comes the story many events occurred that could have been easily changed but were not creating many plot wholes that in all messed up the whole narrative. In all I would not recommend this book to anyone, there are many other books with similar lengths and way more interesting narratives. If you do not have any other good books to read and enjoy sci-fi and adventure esk stories you could possibly enjoy this. (Oliver. Grade 7)

Infinity Ring Volume 1: A Mutiny In Time by James Dashner. This book is about 2 kids Dak and Sera who use a time machine (The infinity ring) to help the Historians fix breaks in time. This was a short and easy book but overall I liked the creativity of it. I recommend this book to people who like Science Fiction and adventure. (Monty. Grade 7)

This book is called Infinity Ring Vol 1 and the author is James Dashner.

When best friends Dak Smyth and Sera Froste stumble upon the secret of time travel -- a hand-held device known as the Infinity Ring -- they're swept up in a centuries-long secret war for the fate of mankind. Recruited by the Historians, a sec. History is broken, and three kids must travel back in time to set it right!

This book was really interesting but it was not so interesting as I couldn't put it down, in some parts of the book it was really boring. (Alex. Grade 7)

What I was reading was called Infinity Ring by James Dashner. This book was interesting as it had different locations and settings in the book. I also like how this book tells detailed information about where they are at or even what they are doing. This book makes you want to keep on reading until the exciting part is finished. The vocabulary of this book isn't really hard, I think people who read this won't have any difficulties. I would recommend this book to people who like fantasy and adventure books. Overall it's a really good book, the vocabulary isn't hard and is very interesting. (Jackson. Grade 7)

Infinity Ring Volume 1: A Mutiny In Time by James Dashner and the rest of the Infinity Ring series is a great example of a book with themes of science fiction, dystopia and adventure. This book is about 2 kids about our age named "Dak" and "Sera" who use Dak's parents' time machine called "The Infinity Ring" to help an organization called "The Hystorians" to fix "breaks" in time caused by a control obsessed organization called the SQ. I like this book because of its dystopian themes (Dak and Sera live on a version of earth completely governed by the SQ). One thing that I don't like about this book though is that it keeps on pulling the same jokes over and over again, there is a character who has only 1 eye and the book keeps on emphasizing that he has only 1 eye. I recommend this book to anyone who likes Science Fiction / Adventure books which are part of a long series. (James. Grade 7)

The Infinity Ring is a good book, it is about three kids who have this ring that lets them travel to the past and how they change history. Because they are traveling and changing things through history I thought this would be historical fiction. In the book the world seems to be controlled by a big organization and one of the best things they can do to stop them is by going back in time and changing some historic events. It's a very good book and it doesn't take too long to read. (Ashton. Grade 7)

This book is about 2 kids who live in a world where history is broken, this means things that weren't supposed to happen happened, they invent a time machine and go back in time to attempt to fix history. I think this book was pretty easy to read, and I would recommend it for people whose first language isn’t English. (Malena. Grade 8)

This is a book about a kid whose parents created a time machine, and his best friend makes it work. They need to go back in time to fix history, because an evil organization messed up history. This caused events that weren't supposed to happen, to happen, and even erased parts of history. This book describes one of the parts of history that they fix. Personally, I do not think that this book was bad, I rated it lower because I think that it is a book for younger readers, but if you like easy-going books to read, this one could be for you.
