The book that I read was Hitler´s daughter by Jackie French. Jackie French is an Australian author and she has written over 130 books. The genre of this novel is speculative fiction and children´s literature. This book is about Anna (the storyteller) telling the story of Heidi, the unacknowledged daughter of Adolf Hitler. She is not acknowledged in public, but her father provides for her. She is living in isolation. I think I would recommend this book if you are very interested in World War II and Hitler's daughter. I would rate this book a 5/10 because it was an interesting story but not entertaining to read. (Lauren. Grade 8)

Hitler's Daughter by Jackie French is a realistic fiction in the sense of the war and Hitler but Hitler never actually had kids. The book is about a child named Anna who makes up a story and tells to to her friends. Her friend, Mark found the book so interesting he was intrigued to find out what happens next. In the story its about Hitler's daughter (Heidi)living her life in the war. The books language is very easy and the book is only about 140 pages long. I liked this book because it contains history and the fiction of Heidi and her life. Overall, I enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to people to like realistic fiction and some history. Hitler's Daughter by Jackie French is book about a girl called Anna who made a story of Hitler's daughter on a rainy day. Anna was good at storytelling that her friends begged her to tell a story. One day, it was another rainy day to school and the bus hasn't come by. Anna began telling the story of the myterious daughter of Hitler named Heidi. I recommend this book to students who like to read books categorized under the book genre of historical fiction. The vocabulary in this book is easy to read and understand except for some German names since this storytelling takes place in the 1940s during the World War II, in Germany. (Ahyun. Grade 7)

I read 'Hitler's Daughter' by Jackie French. I think this is a nice book and its genre was historical fiction. In the book, the story explains Hilter's secret daughter Heidi it was really interesting. The book summarises the history very well and is understandable. However, it was a little bit boring to read the whole book, even though it was a short story. It didn't really have a part that grabbed my attention. The vocabulary wasn't really hard to read, it had an easy explanation which was a good part of the book. I would like to recommend this book to people who like to read historical fiction and also people who like to read short books but it has an interesting story. (Sebin. Grade 8)
