Harry Potter and the cursed child by John Tiffany, Jack Thorne, and J.K. Rowling is a fantasy novel that is written in the format of a play script. This book follows an unlikely friendship between Harry Potters middle son Albus Severus and Draco Malfoy's son Scorpius. This story is perfect for anybody who is as obsessed with the wizarding world as I am. Unlike the original Harry Potter series we see a different side of the magic filled halls of Hogwarts that were used to. A different perspective is refreshing. This book does very well is catching the complexity and realism of its characters. The vocabulary isnt very challenging but if you aren't already acclimated to the wizarding world and its terminology it might be confusing. This book is very emotional and answers alot of questions from the original Harry Potter Saga. I highly recommend this book as it is very well written and entertaining but I do warn all the Harry Potter fans because this book definitely changes your perspective on things that were already established in the original series. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a fantasy-adventure script for a play about Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy's attempt on saving Cedric Diggory from death 20 years ago using time travel, though their attempts cause more problems then they solve. This book is an emotional ride, with many family and adventure themes. If you have read the other Harry Potter books or watched the movies, this book will appeal to you. It resolves many open ends in the Harry Potter Saga, so I highly recommend this book to Harry Potter fans, even though it is just a script for a play. I enjoyed this book, it's a nice short read, and I recommend this again to anyone who is a fan of the Harry Potter series and anyone who wants to study how plays are written. (James. Grade 7)

The children of the main characters in the Harry Potter series attend Hogwarts. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by Jack Thorne and John Tiffany imagines what their life would be like as the children of the famous characters. Albus is Harry potters son, but in his first year at Hogwarts, he gets sorted into Slytherin and makes friends with Draco Malfoy's son, Scorpius. Years later, the last time turner is discovered. Albus and Scorpius decide to steal it to go back in time and save an innocent life. But messing with the past always comes with consequences. Their world changes and the time turner falls into the wrong hands. The children have to solve their old problems to face these new ones. I enjoyed this book since I think it is an excellent representation of how it would feel to be the children of important figures, and partly because it was written as a play. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed the original Harry Potter Series and wants to be further emersed in this magical world.

The Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Throne is a book written in a script layout which I thought it will be interesting to read. This book continues from the previous Harry Potter books. The story is about the adventure of Harry Potter's son, Albus Potter who goes to Hogwarts with his cousin Rose Granger-Weasley. But they meet a new friend called Scorpius. I liked this book because like I said, the layout is in script form which was easy for me to read. I will recommend this book if you liked the Harry Potter books. (Luna. Grade 8)
