I read 'Field Notes on Love' by Jennifer E. Smith. The genre of this book is young adult romance. It is not a genre that I enjoy reading so I gave a rating of 3. While I am reading the book it was a little bit boring and I couldn't concentrate on the story. It didn't have any climax that made the story interesting for me. However, the ending of the book was heartwarming, so I gave a rating of 3 for this book instead of 2. The vocabulary was a little bit challenging but it wasn't really hard. I would recommend this book to readers who like to read young adult romance. (Sebin. Grade 8)

Field Notes On Love is a book about an eighteen year old who recently got dumped by his girlfriend because she thought they had a far distance between them and there was no way they would maintain a relationship from there. Hugo's ex-girlfriend left him with two tickets, and he had to find another girl named 'Margaret Campbell'. After seeing some volunteers, Hugo chooses a girl named Mae to go on this adventure together. From being strangers to being in a relationship. They spend their time together and after a week, they go on their seperate ways from different situations. I recommend this book to people who likes romance and adventure. I think this book is most suitable for the ones who are aged twelve and up. (Ahyun. Grade 7)

Hugo recently got dumped by his girlfriend when they were about to go around America. He had 2 tickets and had to find another "Margaret Campbell" and there was this girl Mae, who volunteered to go on this adventure. They were first strangers, then friends then next minute, they're in a relationship. Throughout their adventure around America, they had fun times. But one day Mae got news from her parents about her Nana who just passed away, and Hugo had to go to university, so they went their separate ways...I would recommend this book, but it isn't good for people who don't like romance but have some adventure and realistic fiction in. "Field Notes On Love" by Jennifer E. Smith is based on a story that can be related to real life, so I think that the best genre that fits with this book is Realistic Fiction/Adventure. (Ellery.
