Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's library is a children's adventure novel written by Chris Grabenstein. The story follows 12 year old game enthusiast Kyle Keely as he and 11 other kids get invited to eccentric billionaire Luigi Lemoncello's library and have one of the craziest adventures of their lives. This book is the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for book or puzzle nerds. The puzzles, while plentiful and difficult, were bland. The amount of information thats getting thrown into your face was annoying but this book does keep you hooked till the very last page. The characters were boring and stereotypical, there was some character development but not enough. If your looking to read the next great American novel then this isn't the book for you, but if you are looking for a light hearted, fun and addictive book then I recommend Mr. Lemoncellos library for you. The book "Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library" by Chris Grabenstein is full of exciting adventures around the library. Kile Keeley and 11 other students got selected to stay over in Mr. Lemoncello's library opening. They got to play games and check out the new facilities that real libraries don't have. They all thought that it was just one night over but it turns out that they had to escape from the library. I would recommend this book for 5-6th graders, I think that it wasn't really suitable for kids that are older but I think that it would be quite enjoyable. (Ellery. Grade 7)

The book " Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library" by Chris Grabenstein was very exciting. When Kyle Keeley forgets to write an essay for a school competition that he really wants to win, he ends up writing only three words "balloons are balloons". However, Kyle surprisingly ends up winning with a couple other kids in his class. As a prize, the winners get to go to a new library, where they are informed about a game they will be playing. The kids have to try escape from the library using clues that are hidden and scattered around and without being allowed to use the front doors. I really enjoyed this book as it included a sense of suspense and lots of tension. It hooked me from the first page to the last. (Nina. Grade 7)
