Group AGM 1 September 2026, all members welcome
Our Scout group, founded in 1961, is a trust and registered as a charity with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.
The members of the group's trustee board are:

All of the young people in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts with the 51st Balerno Scout Group, their parents and carers, are warmly invited to come along to the Group's annual general meeting on 1 September at the Scout hall.

Our constitution is the model constitution for Scout Groups promulgated by the Scout Association (incorporating Scottish variations). The currently adopted version is that set out in POR Spring 2025 (May update) edition.

In accordance with our constitution, and the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, the group produces an annual report describing our activities and financial position over the preceding financial year.
