Our Scout group, founded in 1961, is a trust and registered as a charity with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.

Our constitution is the model constitution for Scout Groups promulgated by the Scout Association (incorporating Scottish variations). The currently adopted version is that set out in POR Spring 2025 (May update) edition.

Annual statement and accounts
In accordance with our constitution, and the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, the group produces an annual report describing our activities and financial position over the preceding financial year.
