VOLUNTEER PROJECTS
Library Volunteers We're seeking a creative volunteer who would LOVE to decorate the library. Please contact us here if you'd like to be part of the team. We are also seeking library volunteers to lead bingo and other games during indoor recess during the winter months.
Wonderful Wildcat Prizes We're seeking a volunteer interested in designing a prize ticket for Woodward students for this popular PTO program that reinforces exemplary behavior and teaches students how to be a good member of the Woodward community. Please email us here if you're interested in designing this ticket.
Volunteer in the Classroom A few classroom teachers have reached out to us requesting volunteer support in their classrooms. Fun and rewarding opportunities range from field trips to reading groups. The teachers who are requesting volunteer support are: Carrie Newman/Language Arts (seeking general volunteers), Sue Constan/Counselor (seeking Deep Dive volunteers in April), Marcela Sandoval/Culinary (seeking additional classroom supervision), Julee Longridge/Language Arts (seeking reading group facilitators), Danielle Lin/Science (seeking science professionals to share their experiences with students in the classroom) and Kim Kooistra/Language Arts (seeking volunteers for a BIMA art project collaboration). Please email us here if you're interested in learning more.
Amazon Wishlist If your schedule doesn't easily allow for in person volunteering and you're looking for another way to support Woodward teachers, please check out the Amazon teacher wishlist by clicking this link. Teachers have requested basic items like pens, coffee and notebooks. All of these items will be much appreciated!
Please email us here if you are interested in hearing more about volunteer opportunities at Woodward Middle School. We can't do any of these enriching events for our Woodward students without your participation, so THANK YOU for volunteering!
