2. Social Studies: Remembering 9/11 #9.11.4

Today we will take a moment to remember an event that happened on September 11, 2001. This is a day when nineteen men hijacked four US commercial airplanes. A total of 2,977 people were killed in New York City, Washington, DC and outside of Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Many heros stepped up to help thousands of hurt people including police officers and firefighters. It was a very sad day for America. I bet your mom and dad remember exactly where they were when they heard about it. Ask them about it.
