⭐️Today we will continue reading The Wild Robot. We will begin a poetry book and resume spelling. We will estimate quotients and start a new unit on the Northeast region of the US. Don't get behind.

📚Language Arts Lesson

Task 1: Story

Today we are going to begin reading a new book. Yup, we are reading two books at one time. This one and The Wild Robot. This book is a bit different because it is in the poetry genre. We have learned about figurative language and now we are going to apply what we know about figurative language when we read poetry.

Most kids groan when they hear we are going to begin this book, then they change their opinion after reading it.

Read pages 1-10 today.

Task 2: ASsignment

Read pages 1-10 then complete vocab. This should be review and you may use your notes.

Task 3: spelling

Commonly Misspelled Words

This week we will focus on words that are commonly misspelled. There are 4 extra credit words. Study them all. Test on Friday.
