⭐️Today we will take a quiz on figurative language and learn about main idea. We will use what we know about multiplication facts to solve extended. division problems and in science, we will conduct an experiment!

Today we are going to practice identifying the main idea when we read. When you read non-fiction (informational) texts you can use the text to find the main idea and key details.

A main idea or main topic is what the text is about.


A key detail gives us information about the main idea


*You can find clues about the main topic in illustrations.
