Today you will watch a play! When you watch, look for elements of drama: plot, setting, characters, dialogue, theme, stage directions, and scenes. Grab a blanket, find somewhere quiet, and enjoy.
Listen to the story of The Grinch. Listen for elements of poetry. Do you hear rhyme, similes, metaphors, repetition, and onomatopoeia? Dr. Suess was a poetry master.
Take a look at behind the scenes of the movie.
