Art has spoken to others in so many ways and forms. At Badin Studio, students are really starting to dip their brushes into some interesting paint.
Currently in the making, students are building an eye catching piece for Open House.
Badin Studio is always on their toes with new activities and projects, and with Open House approaching the group is working on creating a unique rain barrel for the Badin garden.
“Mrs. Daniels came up with making the rain barrel for Badin’s Garden. Each student came up with a design or pattern and eventually we chose the one we really liked and drew it on the rain barrel”, Sophomore Caroline Hughes mentioned.
Along with the barrel in making, Hughes also mentioned the group is creating painted feathers and will place them on a wall in the shape of wings.
Though the students are busy creating fascinating pieces of art, the club consistently plans more activities and projects that all the members enjoy.
“Last year the club painted olive oil bottles, arm casts, and painted a rain barrel.” Hughes mentioned.
“Art inspires people and my favorite part is hanging out with friends and teachers.” Said Sophomore Paige Long.
“Join because it’s a great experience.” Long mentioned.
“I love to play piano, sing, draw, dance, and write. These are all forms of art and they all happen to be my favorite things to do. I have always thought about how art is everywhere around us. We are all part of a giant canvas painting by God and we are simply adding little elements to his piece when we design and create things.” Junior Kaitlyn Hopewell Sadi who is currently in Art III.
To give advice to others Hopewell mentioned she, “would tell others don’t think about it, just join. Everyone can do art! No matter what your skill level! Mrs.Daniels is an awesome teacher and she makes every class fun and interesting.”
