Many new service opportunities have risen since the start of the school year, one of these being to make cat toys to donate for the Animal Adoption Foundation (AAF).
This group has taken interest from many students that wish to help the animal community. Many students have interest in helping animals, and this group is a great way to do it.
“I choose to be a part of this group to help out the organization by providing and making cat toys for the kittens,” junior Sarah Krach said.
The purpose of this group is to help animals in need and to help the AAF so they are able to continue to provide for the kittens and cats. The students in this group enjoy it because they get to help their community while also spending quality time with friends while doing it.
“I like being able to talk with my friends but also make these toys for the cats in shelters that don’t have a lot,” junior Hannah Ballinger said.
Supporting the AAF has many good impacts, and students think that it gives opportunities for animals in need.
“It gives a safe place for all the animals in neighborhoods to have a safe place to stay before they can find homes,” junior Adrianna Garcia said.
The students in this group want to show that they care for animals and want to help their community by participating.
“It shows the passion and love we have for animals by helping to make cat toys,” Krach said.
If you are ever interested in helping the community, join the AAF group after school every Tuesday!
