COVID-19 has been one of the biggest struggles for many reasons. It affected schools, restaurants, shops, and the whole world. Mike DeWine has officially stated that the mask mandate will end on June 2. COVID-19 has affected Badin High school in many ways and all students and faculty are so excited to say that we will not have to wear a mask anymore. “This year has been very difficult with having to keep my face mask on, and remembering to stay socially distanced from everybody,” says Annie Whalen. Due to us having to stay socially distanced, we have not been able to have a whole school Mass all year long, which finally changed on Friday. We were all so thrilled to be together again in school Mass and celebrate the lifting of the mask mandate.
Not only is it going to make everybody at Badin High School happy but everybody else who had to go through this hard time. “I struggled and disagreed a lot with the rules of Covid, so I am glad it's now over,” Allison. Shops have officially opened up, along with restaurants and schools. Overall, this will be better for people's mental health, and the social life will be a lot better.
