Thanksgiving or Christmas? It should be a pretty easy answer to decide on. However, when deciding this there is a lot that goes into this question. How is that holiday better than the other? What makes it better?
Earlier this week a google form was sent out asking which was the better holiday. There were some Christmas and some Thanksgiving answers. Sophomore Ruby Rosenblums favorite holiday is Thanksgiving and here's why.
“I like Thanksgiving and Christmas, don't get me wrong. If I had to choose, I would pick Thanksgiving. The first reason why is because I was born on Thanksgiving. The second reason is to watch football. The third reason is if my birthday lands on Thanksgiving, me and my family get to celebrate. The fourth reason, on Thanksgiving day sometimes me and my mom would start getting ready for Christmas. Then we start declaring for Christmas. The last reason that the best part about Thanksgiving is saying thanks around the table during dinner," Rosenblum said.
Another person from the Junior class named Aydin Hassler said he likes Christmas over Thanksgiving.
“Christmas is my favorite time of the year. The classic christmas Cokes come back and the Little Debbies christmas tree cakes come back. Thanksgiving is a more meaningful holiday, in my opinion," Hassler said.
Hailey Lipp, a sophmore mentioned in the Google Form that Christmas is the better holiday as well.
“I prefer the snow, Christmas joy, music, and so much more. But most importantly, I get to celebrate my faith and the birth of Jesus Christ! I also love giving to others and seeing others happy," Lipp said.
Emmy Demmel, a freshman also says that Christmas is a better holiday
Christmas gives me such a warm feeling and I love all of the fun activities that get you ready for Christmas," Demmel says.
