Summer is on the way and everyone has some sort of plans if it is sports, vacation, spending time with family and friends, or just relaxing and enjoying the warm weather.
A google form was sent out to the students about what their plans for summer were and there were a variety of responses. Some people were doing sports, others were planning on going on vacation, others were planning on just staying up in Ohio for the summer.
Freshman Maya Craft had plans for a busy summer. She will be practicing everyday getting ready for swim season, and she is also going on vacation.
“We just got a New London membership and I'll be part of their swim team. I'll be there almost every weekday. I also have a gold pass to Kings Island and will, like every year, spend a lot of time up there with my cousin. My family has a camper and spot up near Brookville Lake and will be there practically every weekend,” Craft said. “We are going to Siesta Key in Florida for my dad's cousin's wedding about right after school ends.”
Just like Craft, this person plans to spend their summer vacation up here in Ohio until they go on vacation to Florida.
“I plan on spending my summer working and hanging with friends and going on vacation,” they said.
Senior Kailynn Berger made plans to do a lot this summer however, covid had gotten in the way of some of these plans.
“My plans for this summer is working, volunteering, relaxing, golfing, and preparing for college,” Berger said. “I originally was supposed to go to Italy the day after graduation but because of Covid the trip got cancelled.”
Sophomore Marie Hootman has plans to not go on vacation, but to stay up here in Ohio.
“"I will be playing volleyball, and hanging out with my friends. I am very excited about summer and can't wait to be done with school," Hootman said.
