As spring comes around and the weather is starting to get warmer, Flub’s Dariette is beginning to open their three locations
Flub’s has been open since operating for 55 years, opening in 1966. Sophomore Liam Connaughton, an employee at Flub’s, has a bit more information on the family business.
“Flub’s original location opened in 1966, after Mike and Ann Connaughton purchased the Dariette from George and Louise Waggonfield. It was renamed Flub’s in 1967, because of Mike’s nickname “Flub,” Connaughton said.
Flub’s has three locations around the area, one in Hamilton, Fairfield, and the newest one located in Ross. On March 1st, they opened their location in Hamilton. Connaughton has more information on the other location’s openings.
“The Ross location opens on April 5th, and we plan to open the Fairfield location later this Spring.”
Flub’s ice cream is something everybody loves. Their ice cream is like no other place around town. From the different types of desserts, to the kind, friendly staff. Flub’s is an amazing environment for everyone.
“Flub’s Dariette has a hometown ice cream feel that is hard to replicate. Flub’s is really a place that has something for everyone, and a place where families can spend time together,” Connaughton said.
