Round 1: Maintenance Maniacs vs. Money Talks

The Maintenance Maniacs, team members Mr. Murrell, Mr. Thompson, and Ms. Listerman, went up against the Money Talks team, Mrs. Brock, Mrs. Fabry, and Mrs. Chorley, in their first round of Badin Staff Nerf Wars.

As the Money Talks began their plan of distraction, leaving a fake trail of Monopoly money to a dead end for an ambush. Suddenly, they weren't the ones doing the ambushing, but the ones being ambushed.

The Maintenance Maniacs came from seemingly nowhere, firing their Nerf guns at the team of three. They broke off the group and the Maniacs spilt up to chase one of the three.

Mrs. Fabry ran across The Hill, but even with the open space for her to dodge the raining bullets from Mr. Thompson, she was finally hit as she tried to evade the attack once more.

Ms. Listerman was chasing Mrs. Chorley around Badin, attempting to hit her as they began to circle the building for a second time. Mrs. Chorley was firing back, not even looking over her shoulder as she ran for cover.

Though her goal was thwarted by one well timed foam bullet hitting her right in the shoulder.

All that was left of the Money Talks was Mrs. Brock, who had found cover by the front steps of the building. Her Nerf gun was loaded with as many Nerf bullets she could stuff into it, waiting for one of the Maintenance Maniacs to walk by.

Unknown to her, Mr. Murrell was sneakily climbing up the concrete steps, having seen her trap right before he had crossed into her line of sight. With barely a glance, he fired a single foam bullet at Mrs. Brock and with a sigh of disappointment, he knew the Maintenance Maniacs had lived to play another round of Badin Staff Nerf Wars.

Within the distance, colorful paper money blew in the wind, the last remains of the Money Talks team's attempt to win.

Look out teams, the Maintenance Maniacs seem to have one thing on their minds-- victory.
