Come and join this session and learn ways to maximize your rehearsal time. Whether you direct a church choir, school choir, or any level of singing, this session is for you. It will explore ways to communicate with your choir, and provide tips on making your rehearsals fun, and efficient.
Greg Hebert, MM, has been a choral director in Arizona for over thirty years and was honored to be Director of Choral Music at Corona Del Sol High School from 1994-2021. He received a Master of Choral Music Degree from Arizona State University, in 1996. Mr. Hebert is a sought-out clinician and enjoys directing honor choirs, presenting at conferences/workshops, working as a collaborative pianist, and adjudicating festivals. In 2014, he received the AzACDA Choral Director of the Year Award and has been an active member serving for AMEA, ACE and AzACDA since 1994. Currently, Mr. Hebert is the Director of Music at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, in Phoenix, and serves as the Music in Worship R & R Chair for ACDA Western Region and AzACDA. He is known as the “D-Backs Guy” for AzACDA where he helps coordinate choirs to sing the Star-Spangled Banner at Chase Field.
