As future choral music educators, you're preparing for a career that may involve more than just conducting the choir. In this session, we'll explore the current landscape of music education in public schools, including the challenges and opportunities that come with teaching multiple subjects. You'll learn strategies to advocate for yourself, balance your passion with the practical realities of teaching, and most importantly, discover ways to find joy in every subject you teach - whether it’s general music, piano, drama, or beyond.
