Kankee Axes and Angels Foundation, NFP

Mission:

The Foundation is established to provide assistance to firefighters, first responders, emergency medical service providers, and their families during healthcare or financial emergencies.

The Foundation will consider any requests for aid related to firefighting, law enforcement, emergency medical services, and emergency management.

The Foundation will also offer scholarships to community members for education related to firefighting, emergency medical services, or other related subjects.

The specific objectives and purpose of this Foundation shall be:

a. To provide financial aid for the purpose of medical expenses and other costs associated with seeking medical care such as lodging, travel, and food;

b. To raise money for the express purposes as stated above;

c. To provide support and information to its beneficiaries in times of need;

d. To provide scholarships; and

e. To provide assistance to the community in any way possible as best determined by the Board of Directors.

Fundraising:

• Our primary fundraiser is an annual golf outing held on the last friday in July at the Oak Springs Golf Course in St. Anne, IL.
• Donations will be accepted at anytime.
