Dr Said Karim Shah has been working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. He earned his PhD in Physics from the University of Camerino, Italy, in 2012. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute Polytechnique de Bordeaux, France, in 2014. He has also held an Assistant Professor Position at the Department of Physics, International Islamic University Islamabad, from June 2012 to May 2013, and at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, from May 2018 to June 2018. His research interests include TiO2 and ZnO Nanostructures, polymer solar cells, dye-sensitized solar cells and organic-inorganic-semiconductor-based devices. He has published more than 37 research articles in international journals. He has also won several research projects under the National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) offered by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. He is HEC approved supervisor in Physics and supervises several BS, MPhil and PhD students.
