Robles Elementary All-Star Student of the Month

Evelyn K., 3rd Grade

Respect, open-mindedness, accountability, and responsibility are traits that Evelyn K.

displays as a student. Consistent kindness from her is always received by her classmates.

When they need help, she's the first to volunteer. She ensures that her work is completed on time and she cleans up after herself. When it comes to classroom etiquette, she is a model

student who always does the right thing and is warm and patient with her friends. It's noteworthy that Evelyn is not only academically responsible but also takes care to maintain a clean and organized space, showcasing accountability for her surroundings. Her adherence to classroom etiquette and being a model student reflects positively on her character. If a new student is in class, I am confident that I can sit them by Evelyn because she will be friendly and provide them with guidance and support to learn the procedures. She is an outstanding student who embodies positive qualities that contribute significantly to the classroom environment.

Congratulations to Evelyn!

William Camp, IT Tech

Mr. Camp is the type of person who doesn’t like to beat his own drum but his impact resounds all around the campus. He is amiable and rarely gets his feathers ruffled.  He always has a smile and if you are lucky, a song (although it's rare).  Whether it's a situation of panic as if the entire district is 'down', or an individual student or teacher in a panic...Bill waltzes into the rescue, calm and cool as a cucumber.

In all the years that Bill has worked in Altar Valley School District, he has been consistent in providing timely help in technical issues within and outside the classroom. He dedicates his time to analyze the issue and resolve the problem. Just like his ability to always lend a hand with grace and with a light spirit, his expertise keeps the day-to-day agenda of the district smooth sailing. Because of what he does and his dedication, we can be assured that learning through technology will continue to happen.
