Elisabeth Bankhead

Robles Elementary

2nd Grade Teacher

We are proud to announce that Elisabeth Bankhead is our All Star Employee of the Month for March. Mrs. Bankhead not only serves as one of our 2nd grade teachers, she also wears many other hats in leadership roles at Robles. Anyone who sees her in action in all of her roles can easily determine what a great advocate she is for all students. For instance, as a member of our Leadership team, Elisabeth is always present and brings positive input and perspective in our discussions regarding academics and school-wide events for our school. She also serves on our TAT/TOAT team which allows her to share her experience and expertise as a seasoned teacher in order to find differentiated support for the students that are targeted for interventions. She leads staff in well developed professional development in the area of mathematics and does so with enthusiasm, and always with a smile on her face. Thank you Mrs. Bankhead for being an all around teacher and supporter of our Robles Bobcats! You are very much appreciated!!

Zeliciana K.

Altar Valley Middle School

7th Grade

Zelly was chosen as a recent Student of the week. She has shown consistency in both academics and behavior. She is responsible for accomplishing group assignments and in making sure that every member of her group participates in group discussion by asking questions and helping her classmates get the information they need.

In addition, Zelly is a good role model to her fellow students in meeting school and classroom expectations. She promotes a positive school climate through her actions and words from goal-setting to goal achievement. This is plainly evident when she doesn’t give up just because she thinks that the lesson is too hard for her. She is optimistic that she can learn the lessons by the end of the week, and she shows willingness to spend her personal time finishing assignments and turning them in before the due date.

Zelly treats her classmates, teachers, and staff with respect by valuing each as an individual, respecting differences, and valuing the work that others do.

Zelly always has a beautiful smile on her face, whether we see her face with or without her mask! Zelly, you can be proud of yourself! We are proud of you!
