STUDENTS IN THE BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE ACADEMY WORK WITH EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS SIMILAR TO THOSE USED BY LAB PROFESSIONALS TO EXPLORE AND FIND SOLUTIONS TO SOME OF TODAY’S MOST PRESSING MEDICAL CHALLENGES.

By participating in activities, labs, and projects that connect learning to life, students will investigate topics including human medicine, anatomy and physiology, genetics, microbiology, and public health. Throughout the academy students collaborate, think critically, and utilize academic content to solve real-world problems.
