Autostop House is a unique summer project created by and for travelers. Each year, we rent a house somewhere in Europe and open a free, temporary house for hitchhikers and like-minded people to meet, share stories, and build community.
The first edition took place in Sarajevo ๐ง๐ฆ (2023), the second in Ohrid ๐ฒ๐ฐ (2024), and now itโs time for Ljubljana, Slovenia ๐ธ๐ฎ (2025)!

โ๏ธ Autostop House is free of charge โ it's run by volunteers from our hitchhiking community.
๐ก Itโs a community space, not a hostel โ we share daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and organizing events.
๐ฉ The address will be shared only with registered guests, to keep the space safe and low-key.
๐๏ธ We do not provide beds โ if you want to visit, you must bring your own sleeping bag and/or mattress. However, feel free to message us โ we sometimes have a spare mattress or sleeping gear available!
