Lively Student Council
Purpose
We are Mr. Foessett and Mr. Horne and we co-sponsor the Student Council, which is made up of students who seek to advocate for student rights, social justice, and campus concerns and who want to collaborate with teachers and principals to build an inclusive learning community for all. There are no elections in the Lively Middle School model of democracy - we are a direct democracy - you help out and participate when you can - you have no barriers to being involved and participating in Student Council - just your willingness to be involved and being part of the collective student voice. Essentially, all Lively students are members of the Student Council - it's up to you on how and when we be to be involved and loud you want your voice heard!
